Farris Engineering Center, home of the MEDIOCRE Laboratory

The MEDIOCRE Laboratory (known affectionately as the Medio Lab) is located in the Farris Engineering Center just above the 5 watt nuclear reactor on the campus of the University of New Mexico. The Lab was formed in 2001 by a group of Computer Science graduate students to house their small but possibly very important unsponsored research projects. The founding members are pioneers in the fields of unconventional HCI and computational pornography. Unfortunately, many people confuse our organization with the Media Lab.
